Why should brands bother with Twitter?

Twitter is occupying a lot of people, divided in two camps. The first ones have adopted the model whilst the others have the opinion why should brands bother with Twitter? The answer is simple. Tweeps are involved and even when there are relatively not that many people active in Twitter, they bring the message further. Twitter people are more likely than the average internet users to contribute to forums and blogs. They also contribute in comments and post photos online. And Twitter posts go further than Twitter only as the posts are integrated in networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Plaxo – and through widgets on a lot of other sites. That’s why the message through Twitter is getting there. And in the end, you get the benefits!
