Not weight loss but health at every size

A UK study slams ethics and approach of weight management research, based on weight only. After analysis of research, heavy people appear not to die earlier than not-heavy people. The focus should not be on weight alone but on health in general. Healthy behaviour already brings benefits. The health at every size approach teaches people to eat intuitively and react on signals rather than on external regulation. The researcher believes the current research emphasis is misguided and that weight loss research appears to enjoy special immunity from accepted standards in clinical practice and publishing ethics.

About joostboers

My passion? Being independent of other people's decisions. I'm horrified with what happens to pensions, or to see that people at relatively are put aside the economy because they simply are too old... at the age of 45+. Do you want to escape this threadmill too? Take action. You can do it.
