A meeting we had yesterday evening illustrated the small world of nowadays world, also in ‘real life’ networking. First, we were with friends in Brussels. They had a friend visiting, who had been working at Reed Elsevier with an overlap when I was there. He also, before, used to be a member of JCI. When we had a dinner with them and a friend who I knew from JCI, he knew the personal trainer of our host. It may sound confusing but at the same time it was striking the three apparently independent parties had so much in common. That’s the value of connected networks, even offline!
