Vitamin D is known to be beneficial for bones, but research shows that also people suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) need to supplement this. Epidemiological studies show that vitamine D may down-regulate the inflammatory reaction in the airways that are caused by the defence against micro-organisms. Vitamin D also is thought to contribute to prevent cancer, autoimmune diseases and chronic infections.

About joostboers

My passion? Being independent of other people's decisions. I'm horrified with what happens to pensions, or to see that people at relatively are put aside the economy because they simply are too old... at the age of 45+. Do you want to escape this threadmill too? Take action. You can do it.
